01Crawling, indexing and XML sitemap optimization
Google lists three basic requirements for a page to appear in search: Googlebot is not blocked, the page returns a successful response, and it contains indexable content.
We check robots.txt, noindex tags and Search Console's page indexing report, clean up XML sitemaps so they list only the pages you want found (managing sitemaps and robots.txt together is what makes crawling efficient), then fix whatever keeps your money pages out of the index. We also make sure Google is not wasting time on thin, duplicate or broken URLs.
02Site architecture, canonicals and duplicate content
Duplicate URLs split signals and confuse Google about which page should rank.
We set correct canonical tags, consolidate near-duplicate pages, and improve site structure so every important service and city page sits within a few clicks of the homepage. Effective site structure helps both user experience and SEO: a well-structured site improves crawl efficiency and makes it easier for visitors to find what they need, which matters more as a site grows. Internal links connect services, locations and proof so link equity reaches the pages that earn leads, and broken internal links get repaired.
03Site speed and Core Web Vitals optimization
Site speed affects both user experience and search rankings.
Google's Core Web Vitals measure loading (Google recommends Largest Contentful Paint at 2.5 seconds or less), responsiveness (Interaction to Next Paint at 200 milliseconds or less) and visual stability (Cumulative Layout Shift, good at 0.1 or less). We improve page speed by compressing images, optimizing code, removing render-blocking scripts and bloated plugins, and fixing layout shifts. Passing these thresholds does not by itself produce rankings, so we prioritize the speed work that affects real visitors on your key pages instead of chasing a perfect lab score.
04Mobile optimization and JavaScript rendering
Google uses mobile-first indexing and prioritizes the mobile experience, so content, links and structured data that only appear on desktop may as well not exist.
We confirm the mobile page carries everything that matters and that key text and links are visible without relying on scripts Google may render late or not at all.
05Structured data markup
We add LocalBusiness, Organization, Service and breadcrumb markup that matches what is visible on the page and validates cleanly.
Structured data helps Google understand your business and can make pages eligible for rich results, which can lift click-through rates; it is not a ranking shortcut.
06Redirects and site migrations
A site migration carries real SEO risk and needs careful planning; redesigns and URL changes are where search rankings most often disappear.
We map every old URL to its best new match with permanent 301 redirects, remove redirect chains and loops, update internal links, and watch Search Console after launch so problems are caught in days, not months. If you are rebuilding, our web design team plans the migration with SEO from the start.
07Security and site health
We confirm HTTPS across the site, fix mixed content and clean up soft 404s and server errors that erode trust with both visitors and Google.
08Penalty and spam cleanup
Black-hat tactics from a past provider, such as doorway pages, scraped content or paid link schemes, can trigger manual actions or ranking drops.
Recovery starts with identifying the penalty type in Google Search Console's manual actions report, then a technical SEO audit to identify the issues causing it: risky backlinks, duplicate content variations or thin pages. We assess the backlink strategy behind the problem, resolve the content variations, remove or rewrite the offending pages, clean up the link profile, and follow Google's search engine guidelines for recovery.
